20 February, 2012 Spanish conference centres welcomed more international visitors in 2011 and generated an impact of €1,200 million The activity report published by the Spanish Association of Conference Centres’ (APCE) members reveals that in 2011 its venues held a total of 4,981 events and welcomed 3,918,629 visitors. This generated an economic impact for their cities of around €1,200 million.

28 June, 2010 The APCE and the Council of Chambers of Commerce join forces to boost meeting tourism in Spain Representatives of the Spanish Association of Conference Centres (APCE), led by its Chairman and CEO of the Valencia Conference Centre, José Salinas, and its Vice-Chairman, Carlos García Espinosa, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Higher Council of Spanish Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Shipping, Javier Gómez-Navarro, at the institution’s headquarters in Madrid.
