The Kursaal Conference Centre and Auditorium was opened in summer 1999. This emblematic complex in San Sebastian is capable of satisfying the requirements of the most demanding conference and event organisers. Awarded the Mies van der Rohe European Architecture Prize for best European building 2001, the centre has also obtained the EFQM Silver “Q” award in recognition of its management quality and various other awards for its marketing activities (Alpha Award for Marketing Excellence, Best Marketing Award, ESADE Brand Centre Award).

The complex’s modern, innovative facilities feature 60,000 m² of versatile, multipurpose halls and rooms:

The Kursaal Centre is equipped with the most advanced technology. All the halls and rooms have interpreting booths, video projectors, closed-circuit TV, infrared and fibre-optic communication, videoconferencing equipment, etc.
